PokerPadz® Poker Dogs Lights, Camera, Poker!

I just returned from my 2 month trip to Sydney, Australia and I must say that a blogger would not survive in that country. Unfortunately their internet is much slower than our dial up method, MUCH slower, in fact so much that it wasn't possible to even upload a JPG file to an email or to a browser. Apparently Telstra is the only cable provider in the country and some how they have managed to put a hold on what they allow and don't allow. It doesn't make any sense to me how business's would put up with this because it definately is affecting their business. Apparently in some parts of the country, some blokes have secured a faster line some how but I never saw it, therefore, I can not confirm that rumor.

Other than that minor problem the country itself is beautiful and the people couldn't be any nicer. It's winter this time of year and of course it ended up being the coldest and rainest winter in history.

I flew over there to launch the start up of a new company called Lights, Camera, Poker! This Australian based production company that produces web streams, TV shows, etc... for Australia and worldwide markets.

We produced 3 shows in 3 weeks - a bit ambious if truth be told but we did it and we did it well. I included a photo of the "behind the production" scenes that most don't get to see. Once the show is complete it's usually late in the wee hours where the rental houses aren't opened so the expensive camera's, etc... have to be brought back to the producers house for security until they are returned the next day. Nothing like carrying 8 cameras, tripods, shot tape, etc... up 3 flights of stairs only to return it several hours later after shooting and striking for the past 20 hours! Good times.....

Anyway, we shot the APL's Pro Series at Roory Hill RSL club the first weekend, the APL's State Championships at Burwood RSL club and the Wild Turkey APL Tournament of Champions at Luna Park the following weekend. I will post each of these events and photo's seperately as there is a lot of information about all 3.

Production is complete for these 3 shows and we are now editing, etc... so stand by because in the near future these will be available through an APLTV channel that will be powered by Poker Netcast

I have returned back to the USA for awhile and I expect to return to Sydney, Australia again to assist with the next phase of "Lights, Camera, Poker!"

We will see what I fetch next time....
